As you age, the wear and tear on your oral health can become more prominent if you are not aggressively taking steps to keep your smile shining. As you age, keep your smile terrific with top-notch oral health care routines.

If your oral health is not up to par as you age, your smile will suffer. To start, try switching to an electric toothbrush with soft bristles, and use dental floss that is shred resistant or try switching to a water flosser. It is important to determine which dental tools will work best for you. Always brush your teeth at least twice per day and don’t forget to floss daily.

Be careful of the foods and drinks you eat, because your teeth will gradually weaken as you age and can become more susceptible to damage. This includes hard or tough foods that can damage or loosen teeth if bitten into. Exercise caution when biting into hard foods such as corn on the cob and apples. Be sure to visit your dentist for your regularly scheduled dental checkups to ensure your teeth remain strong and healthy.
